... enclosures and it was great. The new lion enclosure was the best for us, as it allowed the public to get right up to them with only a sheet of glass between us, I'm sure it was quite thick glass though As can be seen from the pictures there were some large two legged animals that were not in enclosures. We hopped back on the Old Town Trolley, didn’t go to the next stop, and went to the last stop on the line, Mission Beach. Daniel had recommended this beach to us and we were pleased to see a huge long stretch of golden sand. The closest we’d seen to it was Copacabana in Rio. ... 1. Here, people
just keep coming and won't let you in Even if you're much bigger and
longer than they are or maybe because of the fact we're 31 foot long.
But they are just not polite on the road at all. It's quite
frustrating at times when you are trying to change into the correct
lane for a freeway exit and there are 7 lanes in each direction. We
are much more polite I think, or maybe it's just California? We'll
see what it's like in Wyoming!

Over breakfast I got into conversation with Eric from Sarasota, a sprightly man that I wouldn't have put above his late 60s until he told me that he and his wife Sylvie have to be back home in time for their GREAT granddaughter's graduation in May. They joined the ship in Fort Lauderdale and are on it all the way round to Southampton. Eric is less keen than Sylvie about this! They were ...

Back on trolley and stop at little Italy for great lunch ( girls rate pizzas as the best do far) whilst my shrimp ( or prawn as we would know it) tomato pasta is also tremendous. Then head off for ice cream at geletaria before back on trolley which finishes in old town where we briefly ...
