Another beautiful day for our journey to San Diego. We were away from Indian Palms by 10:15. Our journey took us south from Indio on Hwy 74 to I-15 into San Diego. It is approximately 135 miles but the first 50 are slow going as we are travelling over very high mountains and there are many sharp curves so the speed limit does not get much more than 40 mph. The atmosphere in the stand was electric. Everyone shouting something down to the players and referee. We joined in but ...

... hardcore, we got bogged repeatedly and had to do circle after circle to get out of the sand. Ended up being pretty fun just very time consuming. Once out of the first bog we continued along the dune track until we got bogged again, this time deciding to leave the trailer snd continue just with the car. We reached a towering sand dune. We brought a surf board with us to surf down the dune. Because the hill was so bloody steep ...

You know what I mean……but you should also know that this time around, I came prepared! With me, I had many "motion sickness" patches, two sets ...
