... as Spanish omlette, eggplant bruschetta, strawberry & cream pastries and candied orange cake. Just beautiful! We were lucky enough to enjoy a home cooked meal there on one evening and tasted the traditional Mallorcan aperitif called Tunel which was made from several different herbs. A bit like Ouzo only much more potent. Deadly!! We would certainly be keen to return to Mallorca again one day if the opportunity ever presented itself.

When we got back from the beach, we went to the spa for a few hours and had the chance to relax one last time on the cruise ship. We watched the boat depart from the port from the outdoor spa on the back of the cruise. It was a neat experience!
... Stephen (he's grown into such a gawky, awkward teenager) and headed to the beach. It was rather windy that morning and the waves were in full force. Ben couldn't have been happier and he dove right in. After some relaxing, we went to a nearby restaurant and had a massive lunch/dinner. Post-lunch, Ben went swimming and I played with Marc, while the parents ate chocolate and cried. No, not in that order and yes, separately. Finally, we headed home ...
... and behave at all of them. At this point he was ready to just swim and play and splash in the salt water. Marc and Alex went in too and all had fun, despite Alex’s objections otherwise. Oh, teenagers.
Next stop, way up in the mountains, after many, many winding roads, was Lluc - a monastery with very pretty grounds, and a gorgeous old church. It was dinnertime by the time we left and started winding back down the mountains, ...
... the gist of which is - we made it, just...and the security guy stole our wine. Rude!
Now that said ordeal was done we were able to relax for the very quick flight to Palma - hours of headache for a 30 minute flight... (Double sigh.)
