... la Constitucion. Then on my walk home tonight I noticed a large plastic tree they are putting up. Tomorrow night is the lighting of everything and I think it should be awesome. It's so cool seeing how another country celebrates Christmas. While they don't have lights on individual houses the public displays of decorations are incredible.

For lunch today Maria made a soup and a plate with three different kinds of meat ...

... have it replaced, but in hindsight I believe that is an American mentality (a tradition of America). I asked Alex if he thought it would be wrong for me to ask and he replied, "What have you got to lose?" which is the state of mind I like. So I went in and asked the bartender if I could exchange it and she was a little surprised and she asked her boss, and they exchanged it. When I went out of the bar with a beer in my hand the group ...

Hung over again

... and went for a walk along the strip again but the most of the places where closed up now so we had a pint in an irish bar again and then we went looking for food. We decided to stop off in another english place called Rumours and could not believe it when they put on all the soaps. We caught up with emmerdale and eastenders until I could take no more and we went off to get some chinese food. It was horrid and made us both feel a ...

Too Funny

We made it to the port in a taxi one thing I will say about Morroco its really really cheap for everything and you could get by here with such little money. We got a little hassle from a guy at the port trying to help us but they want money when they help you so as usual Ian left it to me to get rid of him and explain that we did not have any money luckily this time he went off without too much hassle.

terry and i travel well together, we usually don't go out to eat and prefer to shop for our own groceries, stay in and cook. we usually rent a time share or in this case an apartment/hotel which is like a time share only the kitchen does not have an oven, just a stove top. there is a hybrid microwave with convection oven that i am afraid of using after my toast ...

Morocco deserves more than a day!

... whole different world. Everything is in Arabic and French, there´s hardly any english around (you should see the Coca Cola bottles). After a quick town overview, we stepped off the tour bus and into Morocco, and of course, the rain. We were quickly hustled towards the Kasbah while Moroccan street vendors tailed our group selling all kinds of umbrellas. Fortunately we brought our own, but that still didn´t stop some of the vendors from trying to sell us another. After a quick look ...

On boit un peu, beaucoup, trop de sangria... et je décide à 6h du matin de repousser mon départ de Malage au lundi... j'ai trouvé un prof d'espagnol que je prendrais bien avec moi pour un petit bout de chemin ,-)

Malaga City Tour

After breakfast and nice stroll on the beach, we head out to see the next city in the list which was Malaga. Malaga is very big compare to its size on the map :)
The trick is to head out to the old part of town to see the actions. Lots of architectures are dated back few years.
Cathedral as like the other places, is a must see in the old city. Small cobble stone alleys make it very nice and easy for walk.
The best ...

Cooking, Groceries, and More Groceries in Spain

... in 28 years. What we found was highrise apartments every which way you looked! We walked down to the beach and did manage to find the Casa Suecia, a traditional, Andalucian house with apartments where my parents and I had stayed when we first arrived in Torremolinos. It still had the inner courtyard filled with pots of flowers that I remembered, and colorful tiles decorating the walls. Determined to have a good day off ...

Revisiting Costa Del Sol

... sis here since because we enjoyed this place so much. We are finally doing it. We contemplated travelling to a different place (since my Dad and I have been here) but we decided that these family travel opportunities are rather rare so we stuck with the original plan which we know for sure will be lots of fun. This area of Spain provides the rare combination of SSS (Sun, Sea and Sand) with cultural/historical sites. On one hand, Costa ...
