... here has pretty much been identical every day. Wake up. Have brekkie and head to the beach, either both of us have headed back for lunch or one of us has gone back made it up and brought it back to the beach which works a bit better as it avoids karting all the stuff back... What we really need is a decent cool box that we can take everything down with us in the first place but with only a 100m walk, we've managed!! We had a bit of rain ...

... of their heads as if they were under a shower.. Not nice but we didn't have much choice and it was only about a 20 min journey... On arrival at the stadium managed to find out seats easy enough and got a couple of drinks and got ready to enjoy the game..... This is when it actually sunk in that we were about to watch Barcelona play, this wasn't any old friendly down the Ricoh, it was Barcelona Vs Roma.. All the megastars were playing, Messi, Iniesta, ...

... they offered the white wine we had tasted earlier in the evening, we gave up any reservations, ordered a bottle, and settled in. Later in the evening, after we'd had our second bottle of the white, we calculated that those two bottles, the two we purchased earlier, the one from which we had tasted, and the one Jeff drank three years ago, all collectively accounted for more than 1-percent of the total production.

... our van. It meant that every time you met a car coming in the opposite direction, if you could even see it coming around the bends, you would have to slow down and judge if the road was wide enough for you to pass. It made for rather harrowing driving, and not very relaxing -- at least for the driver (me).

After a breakfast far too large to justify, given the feast we'd had the night before, we loaded up and headed out to the hilltop citadel ...

... have done fine with his human GPS skills to get us to Gatallops. It is a tiny village perched atop a hillside. The roads a very narrow, and the whole town has less than 250 inhabitants. He had warned me that the hotel was at the highest part of the village, and that I might have a hard time getting the van to the top of the final very steep hill, as it involved a very tight turn and narrow street.
