    ... cabins, we set sail heading for Plymouth. We had a much calmer crossing thankfully so it was nice to be out on deck and watch the world go bye.

    The final leg of our travels involved a great stop over in Portishead to meet up with family before the long drive north back to Edinburgh.

    We have the Edinburgh Festival to look forward to but then we must get back to work!

    After two months in Spain our trip is nearly over. Last stop is the coastal town of Suances just west of Santander.

    With a couple of nice beaches, a picturesque medieval old village, and a prehistoric cave painting site close by we have plenty to keep us busy. But first its the beach.

    We have breakfast in the conservatory which is almost as grand as the dining room. The porter brings the car round from the parking to load up.     ... bars virtually at the gate of the campsite so no need to be thirsty!
    Dinner cooked in evening and it was time for another walk, the beach now virtually deserted and restaurant and bars had few customers.
