Playa del Carmen is on the Caribean Sea and is a playground for visitors from USA and Europe Many beautiful people, mostly young. Prices to match, mostly quoted in US Dollars (@ an unfavourable rate. Quite happy to change prices to pesos. Prices reasonable in the back streets were the locals buy. Huge pedestrianised street called 5th Avenue with prices to match, brand name shops.

Swimming and then lunch was involved after the ruins, probably about 4 or so hours and each time our driver just patiently waited. Sabrina did ask him if he wanted to join us, but no, he was just happy to wait. What a guy, in the end we all tipped him pretty well.
