        We continued some Roman ruins exploration and went into the crypt of the basilica where they had excavated the entire floor, left all the tombs open and built a steel platform floor so the basilica could be used still. Once again it was amazing to see the changes to the building over 1700 years of evolution. The floor had risen over 2.5 meters …

        ... out as it should be fun being in a city, seems as though I have always been in the country which has been nice, too. The city will be a different experience. I hope everyone is managing through the wicked winter of 2015. I look at weather.com every day. The storms just don't seem to be stopping and the cold...March is just around the corner!

        ... stopping for photos and a rest break at a small town called Zufre, at around 2:30PM. We then passed a local cork farm, so more photos were taken there. An hour later after a very slow 40 kilometres on the small "white road" on the Michelin map, we checked into the Villa Rosillo, and we wasted not time in finding somewhere for lunch.

        We had a late lunch before visiting the local tourist attraction, which is called the Gruta ...

        ... we were not allowed to take pictures inside the cave. The cave is similar to caves I have seen in the US however the immense size of the interior space made this a very special experience. There are a number of lakes inside the cave. Talk about crystal clear water! They did a fantastic job lighting the different stalagmites and tites. They had some formations that I have never seen before. ...

        ... after the previous weekend in Barcelona.

        Sunday we checked out of our cottage and since we didn't have to bring the car back to Huelva by any particular time, we drove around all day to neighboring towns, getting out to explore, hike, roam around at our own pace. It was sunny amazing weather again which made driving through the amazing countryside all the better.
