Weary from a night snatching brief moments of anxious sleep, a 5am start and a 4 hour flight down south to Ushuaia I was hungry from 19 hours without food and lousy airplane fare. I mainly stole myself from picking up a penguin for a cuddle today.

A 6 hour round trip into the mountains and then to Estancia Haberton on the coast of the Beagle Channel to get a boat out to a nature reserve to march with los pinguinos. An hour wandering around the island seeing three types of penguin... Magallanic, Gentoo and one King …

... the 1st eve we arrived into Ushuaia pretty late and just headed straight to the hostel. Were it proceeded to **** with rain the whole night long, it was awesome to listen to it, while snug as a bug in a rug indoors :) It’s so incredible as it feels like winter although its summer in Patagonia, average temperature is like 10degrees (if not lower, and that is not factoring in the wind chill) at the height of summer (it’s pretty darn fresh!!... finally ...
