Los Canelos Ushuaia

... After that a short trek to the REAL end of the world in the national park, looking out over the Beagle Channel facing Antarctica only 1000km away. The end of the world is considered to be the end of Route 3 which goes from Alaska to Ushuaia, quite a distance! We arrived at Ushuaia at 0700. The four of us took a tour to Hidden Lake. It was a pretty drive taking us across the Andes Mountains which are not too high here. Also, in this area they run west to east rather than north/south. We pulled off at an overlook to view the lake, but we were in a cloud layer and the lake was truly hidden from our view.
