... family: georgia; line-height: 25px; -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto;">The people of the Meseta have been defined as sober, and ascetic with perhaps a touch of visionary madness, in contrast to the exuberant Andalusians, the nostalgic Galicians or the practical Catalans. It is in the Meseta that Don Quixote, that wonderful and exasperating madman, was born. ... is amazing, much like a hotel. There are two floors above the restaurant that sleep 20 people, all private rooms, most with two double beds, and our room in the dormer on the third floor with three single beds. Each bed also has a nightstand, electrical outlet, and light switch. Every room has a private bathroom with shower. Pretty swanky actually. There is a nice size restaurant and bar, a huge courtyard, and hand wash laundry area.

Had a good nights sleep in Albergue Municipal. The French started to rise at 6 am. Rustling about even though they spent an hour last night rustling about with their things. We pass them every day and arrive before them. Maybe they are spending more time smelling the roses.

I sang happy birthday to Eugene much to his embarrrasment. 35 again. Had a lovely breakfast in Albergue, museli and fruit for a change. ...

... weekend. They own a family home, another small home and lots of land there. We went to a sunflower field owned by the brother and took some great photos. The brother opened up the village church for us which was full of gold painting and murals and sculptures and a bell tower.  Only 12 people live permanently in the village now, but lots of family go back to the old family homes in the holidays. This village was meant to be only ...
