... but we enjoyed a nice view from above the town.

We spent some time working in the room then went out a bit for lunch and stroll. Light meal today - sardines with fresh tomatoes and toasted almond mixed with olive oil and herbs. ... dogs on trains in Spain. He had walked from Pamplona and was only a few days away from home. I don't know how long he had been on the trail but is was a 1400km round trip. Friendly guy who offered to bandage Warren's feet as Warren was having a rest on a stone wall waiting for Richard and me.

Spent the day wandering around Burgos, a town of 170,000 which was Franco' s capital while he was in power. A very pretty city that empties out ...
