Our day started with pancakes for breakfast and a short walk to Malibu pier. We then drove out to Burbank through the Santa Monica mountains with stunning views. Our first stop of the day was Warner Bros Studios for a VIP tour. We saw working sets, sat on the Friends sofa, saw a special Batman exhibition featuring all of the batmobiles (very happy kids). We passed the Big Bang studios ...

We were staying at a Warmshower that evening, so there was no rush. After ...

Jet lag is a funny thing. We didn't sleep too bad! Strangely. The bed is comfortable and it's relatively quiet but I woke at 12am and stayed awake for about an hour and Damian woke at 3am and couldn't get back to sleep. Only bonus of waking up so early was that we watched the sun rise over the city of LA. Gorgeous orange hues silhouetting the tall downtown buildings of the city, the Hollywood sign highlighted in the distance high above in the hills to our left. Good morning! We discussed ...

... and what can only be described as a vat of coke!! Mmm! Spot an IHOP on the way back so that's breakfast sorted!! Head to the Double H club next to the hotel which offers drinks and dancing 'til late' - walk in and it looks like a social club and smells like a urinal!! I suck it up and we stay for one, I have (yet another!) warm glass if C******nay... Yak!! Early night for us I reckon, very early start in the morning!! Next stop: Hollywood and Colorado ...
