    ... then headed to the Hard Rock Cafe for lunch! We had mock tails as we drove and got to keep the glasses - we also got 25% discount off our bill as our waitress forgot to put all of our order in - we had three waitresses and the manager come over and apologise but it was fine! - we'd had starters anyway so needed a break! We told them all it was fine but as a gesture of good will (our waitress was nearly crying - people can be very dramatic) they knocked off 25% ! So essentially we just ...

    ... s and geez was it gooooood. A great first experience of American food. So cheap! It was our first time tipping at a restaurant too which was funny! We spent ages trying to figure out how to do it, watching what other people did.

    We managed to stay awake until late at night, which made getting over our Jet lag so much easier :)

    The next morning we were up early and off on our next flight to Denver, Colorado!!

    Heading back to the hotel about 8:30 for an early night - we don't really want to be roaming L.A too late.

    ... night so we parked behind a church to go to sleep. It was about 1am when a bright light was shining into the car and the Sheriff's Department wanted us to open up. We thought we were in trouble but they just wanted to check on us to make sure we weren't up to no good or whatever.
