... no bus. Maybe we were in the wrong place? I went inside the ALSA office and asked "Number 1 bus to Valencia?", "Yes, 9.30", "It's 9.25, no bus", "Bus coming". OK. So we wait, and just as the clock ticks over to 9.30, Jess manages to delete the email from her phone with her eTicket. In a mild panic we jumped on the gmail.com site, figured out how to log off as me and log in as Jess, went into the trash and undeleted the email - just as the bus was pulling ...

... Spanish Tortilla. It turns out that a tortilla was, and is, the name of a thick round omelette, but when Spaniards conquered Mexico they named the thin flat bread after the thick round omelette. Anyway I'm not usually a big fan of omelette but this was very nice! This morning I went to get some dry cleaning done. This morning, I made a dogs breakfast out of my breakfast. Specifically I started fried eggs before realising that I didn't have a spatula, and removing egg from a non-non-stick pan (that is, a normal pan) is near impossible. I bailed on the fried eggs entirely and went for scrambled eggs and cheese, which worked out much better. John A's friend Diane picked me up at 11am and took me to the workshop where the bike had been fixed up - it needed a new fuel pump. With ...

... police road blocks, so we were now 15 minutes behind schedule. We also hadn't anticipated that Monday 6pm is peak hour in Moscow, so we fell from one traffic jam to the next. Cars blocking intersections, cars with flat tyres, motorcycles zipping through traffic, busses merging without warning - but all in ultra slow motion. I used maps on my phone to recalculate the time it would take to get to the Airport, and we were now about 45 minutes to 1 hour behind ...
