... great view because it was under a cloud of fog (James said he has never seen it clearly), but we knew what it was, and then a rush over to the other side of the ship for our first view of Africa! Lots of ships in the straits, Toby counted 22. No show tonight for us, kids needed early night so writing this back in the cabin at 9.30pm with cup of tea!! ... The entire beach front is lined with tourist traps designed for British tourists ( Irish Beer Here) type places. The price was cheep but the quality was very low. I stuck to the fresh fish places which were fine. My Hotel included dinner but after a few tastes and looks around (I was one of three people eating there) I realized my mistake.
