Frueh am morgen brachen wir auf, um uns den Vulkan mit Naturschutzgebiet, Parque NAtional Braulio Carrillo, anzusehen. Besonders lustig erwies sich die Anfahrt, da es hier weder Wegweiser noch Ortseingangsschilder gibt. Nein, ein Navy haben wir natuerlich auch nicht.

Vanaf een van deze finca's hebben we, met een lokale gids, een zwem- en klautertocht door een grot ondernomen. Er stroomt een rivier met stevige stroming door de 3km lange grot.
