As Robert Earl Keen (of Austin, Texas fame) accurately said in one of his songs, the road goes on forever and the party never ends. But the road is constantly changing – sometimes it’s smooth, sometimes it’s filled with potholes, sometimes it’s a giant sand trap, and sometimes your clutch breaks.

    ... gone north by now and we wouldn't get to see them but the green jay and altamira oriole were two of the prettiest birds (maybe with the exception of the painted bunting) we have seen in the states. also saw the crested caracara and the alpomado falcon and the chachalaca (what fun).

    nights concert one of the verses said “you can drop your black dress on the
