I creeped straight across the city on the parking lot known as interstate 10. A couple of hours of good, clean fun. Eventually I reached my last Nat. Park in the state, Joshua Tree N.P.. The park includes parts of two different deserts. I started in the east which is the ...

... like a real beachy European holiday which is great after the bustle of New York and the sightseeing of San Diego. In fact we’re enjoying it so much that we’ve decided to miss Flagstaff and stay for a two extra days after finding a great rate on the internet which the hotel matched, in essence we’re staying here for less than a Days Inn in Flagstaff, bargain!

    That evening we were ...

... calling the card people from my phone would cost 1.40 a minute and I knew I would be kept on line for ages. Anyone who knows me knows I cannot rest easy until problems like these are sorted so at my earliest point I pulled over to make the call. The stop off point was extremely hot, didn’t have a great reception and the traffic noise from trucks pulling in was loud. I got through to the bank eventually after entering some of the numbers they ...
