This is holiday week end so we are going to stay put for a few days. Sean and Andrea, Debbie's son and daughter-in-law, are coming up from LA to see us. We are really is looking forward to seeing them. It has been a couple of years since we have seen each other.

The ride up went to over 8,000 feet and when we arrived, it was COLD! We didn't expect there to be so much greenery and foliage up there but it was almost like being at Yosemite. There were plenty of experienced hikers, including a boy scout troop, but Ted and I walked a short distance before losing interest and heading back to the coffee shop.

We ate the second halves of our sandwiches for dinner. It is amazing how little we have been eating on this trip. We seem not to need as much food. Perhaps it's the sunshine and fresh air.
Today didn't go at all as expected but turned out well. Also, we are still really glad we didn't get stuck with the Impala!
