    ... Good thing we did. You have to buy a pass for the car to drive it in CZ (good for 10 days). We would have been in trouble withoiut it. The motorway stop did not leave a good impression; litter everywhere and **** coffee but I guess many American truck stops might be similar.     ... my plate, it was very nice but I was extremely full afterwards. The centre of Prague near the astronomical clock tower, which puts on a show every hour on the hour to crowds of onlookers is beautiful with an enormous Christmas tree dominating the centre of the square which is adorned with Christmas lights and decorations and multiple stalls selling all sorts of things from fresh nuts to svarene vino, arts and crafts and such things.     ... did have valid tickets so we were okay. The inspector looked a bit like a ' dirty old man' not at all what you would expect a plain clothes ticket inspector to look like.
    For dinner we went to a nearby restaurant recommended by the Avalon Cruise team Gate.
    When we arrived they asked smoking or non. We said non smoking and he pointed, it looked liked he was pointing outside junto the tables outside in the rain but he was pointing to a door to the basement. Very quiet but ...
