... that impressive, however in 1410 when it was first installed - it was a master piece. In fact the clockmaker, Hanus was considered "too smart" for his time and legend has it that the king thought he would recreate it somewhere else and blinded him! As revenge for his blinding, Hanus walked to the top of the tower and jumped into the central tower, breaking down the clock completely. Unfortunately no one could fix it for over 100 years!

... I took a boat tour of the city, saw the Prague museum of Medieval Torture (slightly disturbing), saw the Prague Astronomical clock, climbed the Powder Tower for a better view of the city, and joined a pub crawl through some of Prague's best Pub's and ending at the biggest club in Central Europe (Karlovy Lazne). One word of advice when in Prague, make sure to avoid eating in the touristy parts of the city! For example I paid ...

We decided to slow things down a bit today. we moseyed over to the Jewish ghetto- it was very moving to tour the 14th century synagogue and read the stories of Jewish persecution through the ages. Instead of walking our usual 5-8 miles, we signed up for an e-bike tour which turned out to be awesome. Our guides were locals, ...
