        We arrived in Campitello yesterday evening, and woke today to some more fantastic weather for early November. It is about 16-17 degrees with clear blue skies, making the visibility fantastic.         ... fish I decided I would choke it down. Typically if its cooked well I can moderately tolerate it. What I received however, was a plate of raw salmon on a bed of raw onions, covered in raspberries and strawberries. Not wanting to be rude, and also not knowing how far my next meal might be, I started to eat it.         Mountain bliss

        Today we wake up slow. The mornings are dim as the sun doesn't peak over the mountains until the early afternoon. The Dolomite Mountains of northern Italy sit beautifully in the backdrop of our humble bedroom windows. Its jagged snow-covered peaks tower with grandeur in the sky, while its soft talus is covered in thick forest.
