... the ferries around Indonesia can tip over and sink. They piled us on board, standing room only and headed off. I doubt whether there would have been lifejackets for everyone. A few would get off at the stops but a few more would also get on.....took about an hour or so to get back to hotel after a change of boats...which was just as full. Due I think to standing on the swaying boat for that length of time we are both still bobbing ...
