... and the view was awesome since it was near sunset. At night time/sunset, we walked up the most prominent bridge, the Rialto Bridge, where we got to see the changing sky colours and pretty colourful buildings by the waters, all in a glance. Just beauty. (: The seagulls flying all around just enhances the beauty of Venice and reminds me how carefree life could actually be. I'll definitely still come back if I have another chance in the future ...

We wake around 6.30 and open the curtains with just ocean, no land in sight yet. We are expected to reach Venice around 11.30 am and then it is a slow cruise in with arrival at port around 1.00pm. We are told to have our cameras ready as it is spectacular. ... lost". This had to be the top tip I had read in all the blogs about visiting Venice on a budget. So we didn't bother with the map, we just took one street after another seeing what we could find. The city is just so maze like one canal, bridge and alleyway after another. It was early morning so we watched as the Gondoliers prepared their boats for their first punters. We still hadn't decided whether we were going to take a Gondala ride, so we ran away when the Gondolier we ...

... amp; a tossed salad but the waiter who only minutes ago couldn't wait to get us into his restaurant has other ideas. He tells us that it's one pizza per person and there are no side salads, we would just have to order a full size salad. I am surprised and ask how big the pizzas are. He looks fed up and quickly indicates that the pizza is only small. I suggest that maybe we should just order two of them but Gary isn't buy ...
