Venice, its a start!

Hi guys!
Ive finally landed in Venice and its been a crazy ride.
Im on this campground right now, and its in the most obscure place imaginable, 45 minutes by public transit (bus), but I did enjoy the ride because Ive never been to italy... Im just in complete awe right now.

I dont really know how Im standing here personally though! I cant have had more than 4 hours of sleep in the past 48 hours. ...

... in the afternoon, and we couldn't get any sleep due to the noise. Although obviously they had stopped by the time we actually went to bed at night, and to be fair it didn't wake us up in the morning. Like I said, it wasn't a major issue, but it would have been nice if we were informed.

... the Alps, surrounded by grapes almost ready for harvest. And we even had a special guest show up half way through dinner! Margherita's oldest son, Ferdi (Ferdinando) who is a reknown film producer/director in Rome surprised us with a visit. I'd seen his brother, Alessandro, and his sister Vale (Valentina) through the years. But this is the first time I'd seen Ferdi since my late teens. What a nice surprise! ... notes. I cannot count the times I have made the same mistake. One time I showed up for work an hour early doing the same thing. Fortunately they were happy to see me and I had an hour of overtime.

Once we met the group we went by very noisy boat to Murano Island while Guiseppe gave us running commentary on history and Island names. We passed the house where Casanova lived. He was a priest! and well known for having intimate liaisons with many Venetian ladies.
