Today's excursion - Sorrento to Amalfi.
Listening to the advice of many, we opted to take the public bus from Sorrento to Amalfi.
The day was a balmy 12 degrees. We all ditched our thermals. I felt so light. Tess was talking about going swimming. We couldn't convince her that if she was at home this would feel like a winters day.The sun was out, she felt warm = swimming weather!

... an otherwise serene place, but hey, we're in Italy! After the grotto, Francesco took us to many other caves that were incredible and offered ever-changing views the deeper you got in them. ... cliff side and here we were about 2 meters from the surface of the water. It's a gorgeous drive to Sorrento/Amalfi coast. Slow and windy but absolutely gorgeous! Our hotel was outside of Sorrento on the cliff side looking down into Sorrento and thousands of lemon trees. The hotel had a mini bus that would take you to the town center and pick you up and it ran until 11PM. Neither of us wanted to navigate the small and windy roads at night so we took the bus into ...
