Our next flight to Heathrow departed after after a small delay and we arrived in London 3.30pm Thursday 10th July. Stamford is a lovely small town and right next to it is a magnificent castle owned by the Burghley, Earl of Exeter. It is a huge mansion with an endless park. We only had a walk around the building and in the park but it is possible to go inside.
