... our friend Rodney then got the 2pm bus to the airport was quite worried about the flight because in England they had really bad weather and 70mph winds all week however the weather clear by the time we flew back :-D
Our flight left 15 mins late however we arrive 15 minutes before schedule and England was very cold Bring on April for my year of Backpacking :-)

... had some type of hippy festival thing going on in Las Palmas bus staion area which was really cool and about 40 little stores to look about then we went for a walk down the port area then got the bus back and had a quiet night in watching spanish tv which was quite good even though i didnt understand it lol..

Along the way the man picked up a little shell and gave it to us for some reason then we saw a lizzard running into the bushes.

Then we got the bus back to our hotel and had a little snooze then went out for dinner.

went to a spanish steak house we had seen which always seemed to have
all the locals in it and i order salad for starter and a steak and

Went to Aqualand yesterday which was really good however once your in there they charge you lots more for things like lockers and also for the sunbeds!! Ended up spending about 40 euros just to go on some slides :-S....
Last night went to the Yumbo centre went for a few drinks in a welsh bar which did really cheap drinks then went to Sparkle ...

First day yesterday here the flight was really good went really quick
and when we arrived it cost about 35Euros for a taxi to the hotel..
First impressions arriving to the hotel were good however it was a
different story when they showed us to the room! We got to our room it
was on the ground floor a big damp patch on the wall then opened the
door to the balcony and there were about 6 palm trees planted infront
of it so you couldnt see ...

... and the crew were professional but friendly (Big Gazza and Cheryl, helped by Gary and Tracy) and down to earth. Even though it sounded very strange hearing Christmas songs whilst staring into a cloudless blue sky, and the temperature 28°C. There is a "happy hour" from 4-5pm every day with all drinks (except hot drinks )buy one get one free, spirit measures are generous and ice is safe. The bar staff ...

... we are at sea level and looking up at a 12,000 foot peak. We have been blown away by Tenerife and how beautiful it is. The island is quite large and has a population of over 1million. The main city is Santa Cruz and it is clean and very nice- the entire city is beautifully landscaped with fountains, flowers and trees everywhere and the weather is described as "eternal Spring". Durante esses dias, passeamos, fomos ás compras, praia e piscina, comemoooos (muito mais do que deviamos), mas foi tudo muito calmo e correu ás mil maravilhas. (Os meus pais gostam do David)

Tirando a minha irmã Mafalda lhe ter dado uma gastroentrite, foi tudo optimo.. Só faltou o Luís para a Familia estar completa. A companhia da Mónica tambem é sempre muito divertida.

Bom, como podem ver, este será o nosso "caderno" de viagens.

I hated this holiday - the apartments were away at the top of the hill, beyond the Europa Centre and they were building a new hotel next door, we were told that it was only remedial work - total nightmare. The were drilling from early in the morning til sunset - but apart from that nothing would entice me back to the same area again!
