Trieste, Slovenia, Croatia
... Our friendly slovenian cyclist warned us that the "bora" was coming and boy did it come with a vengeance. We managed to ride against the wind until a town called Porec, about 80 or so kilometers from where we started in Trieste. By dinner time the rain was pounding on our tent and it continued to rain, thunder, lightning, and blow all night and into today. It's now almost 1pm local Croatian time and it is still drizzling. Next it was a quick dry off and time to get some dinner, so wandered back into the action. Stopped in a restaurant cos it looked awesome, big palm trees out front n fresh fish. Checked out the prices on the blackboard n seemed ok so took a seat. We were then brought some bread n ...
Malinska snorkelling!
Woke up very early on the campsite (very impressed with my roll mat- hardly felt the bumps!) and went straight down for a swim! It was half 6 and the bay looked beautifully peaceful and quiet (until we started splashing around...)
Armed with our goggles we began chasing fish and having little swims. The water is so clear it is ridiculous!! U can see for ages and even when u go right out (it gets deep quickly) and its about 20 foot deep u can still see the ...
