    ... church bells ding dong their exceptional song right on cue, cows and goats moo in unison (I dunno what goats do but it isn't going to translate into text here), and the lake beckons for an early morning swim.

    Mama Histon has always been full of advice;

    ... area of the Swiss Alps. We would be staying further up in one of these mountain towns, Lauterbrunnen, but wanted to make a pit stop in Interlaken first. And we are glad we did!     ... of the valley yet. There’s a definite “chill” in the air this morning and the faint smell of wood smoke, so fall is absolutely here! I went out to get a few pictures after breakfast, and at about 11:30 I headed down the main street to try and figure out where the cows would be coming from.
