Spent a chilled day sleeping in till 10, walked to the sea and enjoyed the sun. Relaxed at Alla place then went to eat pide and go walking. Last night was a delight. We stumbled into a meyhane (Turkish pub) that served nothing but raki, the ouzo-like drink, and local beer. The band played Turkish songs that everyone knew. Turks are not shy when it comes to singing out loud--clapping and dancing along with the musicians. Raki was flowing and the party lasted until the wee hours. This morning was a bit foggy!
