... same train. On the plus side, being late gave us the chance to demolish loads of samosas and onion bhajis from the platform food shack that cost less than 80p. We also kept ourselves busy laughing at the blokes trying to ram on the train. Every local train that came and went doing the commuter run to Mumbai had people with feet on the running board and finger tips holding on to the top of the door frame to keep them from falling, so dangerous. We didn't see one person on the roof, ...

... found some awesome accommodations that are able to arrange treks in the area :). I'll be in that area until mid March, when I head back into the cities of Delhi and Varanasi, and then over to Nepal. OH, how could I have forgotten about the worms!?! ... Impulse was fired up at about 11 and I headed off. It was a delayed start due to some UK things I had to take care of and was very grateful for good wifi access. Due to my ongoing heat issues I decided to ride in my cotton trousers and not wear my motorcycle jeans. This felt much nicer but wouldn't if I fell off - fortunately this didn't happen. Let's not tempt fate though. My ongoing aches pains ...

We got up about half ten and went along the shopping street to buy hats and sunscreen. We found 'Soltan' in one shop that neither smelled nor looked like real Soltan, and we have no doubt it was fake, but it was the highest rated UVA protection sunscreen we had seen so thought even though it will be rubbish, it will hopefully be less rubbish than the others. We went back to the first Fernandes for a late breakfast/brunch and ...
