... same train. On the plus side, being late gave us the chance to demolish loads of samosas and onion bhajis from the platform food shack that cost less than 80p. We also kept ourselves busy laughing at the blokes trying to ram on the train. Every local train that came and went doing the commuter run to Mumbai had people with feet on the running board and finger tips holding on to the top of the door frame to keep them from falling, so dangerous. We didn't see one person on the roof, ...

... found some awesome accommodations that are able to arrange treks in the area :). I'll be in that area until mid March, when I head back into the cities of Delhi and Varanasi, and then over to Nepal. OH, how could I have forgotten about the worms!?! I had some visitors incubating inside my stomach, but fortunately this hotel had a doctor on call who gave me some medicine, and I'm all cleared up. ... riding like a complete **** on his rented Enfield. No helmet, pair of shorts and in and out of the traffic like he was in a computer game. His female pillion looked terrified. Still, I'm sure the local hospitals are really really good and gravel rash doesn't hurt as much whilst on holiday! As expected, my nights accommodation found me as I pulled into Paoelim and I was soon in a beach hut and ...

    Boat trip?

... tandoori chicken between us for not much more than 3 pounds, plus some palak paneer. Again. And some cheese pakoras and papads for starters. Then we had a 'Hello to the queen', a Goan dessert we think, of banana, crumble and (melted) iced cream. And a coconut pancake. No wonder we felt so full....so it was a lovely relaxing day where we just topped up our tans and lounged around quite blissfully.
