... they were all just so big and vast, it was amazing.
We continued, and the steps up to the top from here had basically been carved out of a nearly-90-degree cliff face! So we were using our hands as well as our feet to climb. ... lover of all things free, I almost bit my teacher's hand off with my response when I was told (at the last minute of course). ... with them the next day. I had a heavy heart thinking and wondering what their day would be like without visitors. :(

In the afternoon we did some local sightseeing which include a trip to the "beach" (actually a concrete park with sand in the middle of town) and a trip to the mountain where we had great views of the city.

... perfect for all ages even the younger babies. We spent the full morning with the kids until nap time. One little boy climbed immediately up on Hilda's lap. It is clear they want to be held. Another little guy would giggle and laugh when he had my finger to hold in order to help him walk. ... Horizon Christian Elementary and BTG Charities which were used to purchase and install air conditioning in the children's playroom. We had made arrangements to get the air conditioning installed just before our arrival as there was another US based team on site there the week before our arrival.
