I've seen Fire and I've seen Rain
... br> I've seen Sunny Days....
Yesterday we did a final tour of the Dales, which is when we saw the Lonely House. Quite a lot of sunny spells with just a few sprinkles of rain. Today has been sunny all day and the weather man says it should be like this for the rest of the week. It is cold, but you can wrap up to keep warm, rain is just depressing.

From there we went to a small village called Caperby. It's claim to fame is that James ...
Catching up
... all about Stephenson's' Locomotion One and the Stockton Darlington railway. Also a history of Darlington from the BC days to now. It was a thriving railway town with construction and repair factories, but that all ended in the early 70's when rail started to lose it's usefulness. Strange that rail is now coming back to life.
We also visited Castle Barnard, the village not ...
