    ... biscuits and gravy, collard greens, and corn bread nearly every single day. The beautiful music that came from the bunkhouse out back as their sons practiced numbers for the gospel quartet to perform in church or at this event or that event. Willie B and Norman are long gone and their children and grandchildren spread throughout the Delta.

    After my interview I was sold. This was it. This was exactly what I needed and desired to do next with my life. I was going to be an English teacher in Thailand!

    ... are all unique and the shops are as varied. One shop, Galena General Store has more hot sauces than I've ever seen in one place. I know Dick Wilson and Dave Millross would have been in "Hot Sauce" heaven.

    The town sits near a river and the entrance has flood gates as that river can overflow. Just a unique place. You will enjoy the pictures soon. This would be a great road trip destination for us motor home junkies.

    ... It is only one of three of its kind. The stories of all these cars and their history were fascinating. The ’31 Pierce Arrow was used by Al Capone.

    Ed Walton will enjoy seeing this car collection when I can upload the pictures.

    What a great day. Other than the upcoming wedding next week, this stop has been a real treat and one we are sure glad we made. That is the true adventure of a “journey”.
