Longbeach Resort Yasawa Islands

... couple left after two days which meant it was us and the family and the kids who came to the island from school on friday for the weekend, we went to church with the owners granddaughter and basically ate what they ate for two days it was fab a true fijian experience.<br>Left the island on the monday to catch the flyer to our next island,,, the local guys,, tui and fish,,, misjudged the timings so we sat in the fishing boat for an hour with them ...

... Love Island was filmed! Really pretty white beach and had a lovely cocktail at night around the pool area, food was really good and relaxed vibe even went to dinner with no shoes on, which we soon regretted as got chased by huge crabs,ahhh! so many animals! had a chilled day by the pool and the weather was hot hot hot for our last day! caught the big boat back to the port ready for possibly the best place ever......LA LA LA LA LA LA LA!! WOOOOOOO! x

... buried pork, beef, chicken, pumpkin with rice and potatoes and cook it under the ground, protected by leaves from the sand. Other nights were lobster or steak, fresh fish of the day or chicken. ... and jumped into a very simple open boat with a gigantic engine and bounced in a bone crunching fashion to the waiting Catamaran which whisked me to the Wanna Taka cruise boat (A.K.A Party Boat). I'm staying on the "Party Boat" tonight before heading to another island further south tomorrow. Boarded the Wanna Taka which a big lime green coloured cruiser. ... a highly structured day of any activity you wanted to do with a picnic lunch on one of the island's many private beaches. All of it was inclusive - no questions asked. ... but large quantities. The coral reefs were much deeper at this site. Yesterday, they were between 6' to 10' deep, but the coral today was closer to 15' to 30' deep. In the afternoon there was another visit to a local school back in the Yasawa chain. Most of the tour group didn't participate in this trip. The resort is very relaxed, which is what I wanted and there's two more resorts on the beach should we be in need of greater company. At Sunrise there was a game of volleyball between staff and guests - the Fijians, and in particular Deborah, putting the international team to shame. Everyone sat around the tabel for dinner, which is fantastic when travelling alone. ... certification which would allow me to dive all over the world! The course involved reading, tests and about 7 underwater dives. I completed the course with flying colors and I was so glad that I did it. I went to four different dive sites and saw so many beautiful things underwater: ghost coral, a sting ray, parrot fish, trumpet fish and so many other things I did not know the name of. The place was astonishingly beautiful, I can't wait to go back.
