... around 107AD and enclosed about 50 acres of city. We walked around the wall from Petergate to Monkgate. It was then back in to the town to walk down The Shambles - a street of medeavil buildings that overhang the street and look like they are falling down. The children then decided to visit the Jorvik Viking attraction. By this time, Greg and I were walked out so it was off to the closest café for us. We all met up at 11:30 and left York and headed to London.

Well this is it, our last blog. 13 months has passed by so quickly and we have loved every minute. There has never been a moment when we have regretted this big decision. How can you when you have experienced so many incredible foods, places and people! ... in the artists housed in the museum, there was nothing of note for Jillian or myself at this one. Although I enjoyed the Tate Modern, Jillian was 0-2 on the Tates and realized for the second day in a row that surrealist art (modern of otherwise) was not her thing.
