Arrived back in Vancouver at 10:53 pm and stayed at the crummy Executive Suite again (for the last time). The room was extremely hot and had to leave the door and window open to cool it down. Didn't get any supper that night as there was nowhere to eat. I think I had some snacks and water in my bag.

When we booked this tour, almost a year ago, it seemed so far away.
As time passed my interest and excitement has increased albeit somewhat sporadically.
About a month ago it finally sunk in and I began to do some research- the sights, attractions, hotels, itinery, etc, etc

... free alcohol made it feel a hell of a lot longer. However, sitting next to Poonam provided me with hours of endless in-flight entertainment via bullying. We touched down in Bangkok at 10:45PM. We squeezed into a very small van cab with ALL of our luggage finally arrived at The Golden Tulip Essential Vasu hotel around 1:30AM. Bangkok, you ready for us?
