This morning we went to Patinella Angela's place which was actually at Elena’s house. She is a psychiatrist and clearly well off. Her house was big and lovely and they are also building an added shop/apartment nearby as an investment. Her husband Peppino, although in a wheel chair, is animated and very outgoing. They work for the department of antiquities of Campobasso, and could open up the art exhibit at the Palazzo Pistilli , just for our group - which is awesome, since otherwise the museum is only open on Sundays. The 2 men lead us through the halls of their administrative building, out to a courtyard with a beautiful view of the city, then back through more halls and offices, losing half of us along the way.

We continue back into the main piazza and onto Cafe Monarca, our go-to place for gelato in Boiano. I get chocolate and pistachio, Mario gets amarena, jam made with a local variety of sour cherry. It's sooooo yummy!
