Loi Suites is located just outside Puerto Iguazu town centre. The resort itself is hidden right in the subtropical jungle of Iryapua definitely off the beaten path. Loi offers beautiful spacious rooms complete with jet tubs. Enjoy your morning breakfast in your very own private patio as you watch the exotic birds of the amazon rainforest fly by. They have a beautiful pool and garden for your leisure. Excellent service and amenities (spa, lounge, restaurant, pool). Overall Loi Suites Iguazu is simply breath taking.

Taxi or private car is required to access the property and approximately a 15 minutes drive to Iguazu National Park.

WHY? Two places inspired my travels to South America. The second was the Perito Moreno glacier. This is the first. Ever since I'd seen my good friend Rob's pictures of Iguazu when he headed there after uni and I carried on studying, it's been on my bucket list. WHERE? The falls sit on the border of Argentina and Brasil with Paraguay being just 7km …

Once we were back in Brazil we ate at the cheapest kilo restaurant (a Brazilian eating out experience, where you buffet but pay for the weight of the food on your plate). Then we caught a bus to Argentina in order to catch a 16 hour night bus to Uruguay. The bus was relatively comfortably and we got on board having been told ...

... each time we scored and the jeers from the Argie supporters also rose in volume! Not the best match in the world but the two hours after the match chatting to the players was excellent, me and Courtney Lawes are now like best friends, I told Stuart Lancaster a few tips for managing England which he enjoyed and me and Christian Wade put the world to rights! I was a bit like a schoolboy with his heroes occasionally .....fumbling my words as I stood ...

The weather was still fine and so we decided to visit the other falls in Missiones as well: The Moconá falls of the river Uruguay. The road to the falls was as nice as the falls itself - windy and the the top of the hills at a lot of scenic views on the rain forst and rivers.
It was really hot that afternoon and we welcomed the wet boat trip to the falls.

At one point we stopped for a few minutes to gaze up at what we pretended was a fascinating animal in the high trees above us. Naturally, every single member of the masses had to spend the requisite amount of time stopping to ask their neighbors what he next viewing point, we had the place to ourselves. The crowd soon caught on to our wily ways, but with this tactic we ...
