Loi Suites is located just outside Puerto Iguazu town centre. The resort itself is hidden right in the subtropical jungle of Iryapua definitely off the beaten path. Loi offers beautiful spacious rooms complete with jet tubs. Enjoy your morning breakfast in your very own private patio as you watch the exotic birds of the amazon rainforest fly by. They have a beautiful pool and garden for your leisure. Excellent service and amenities (spa, lounge, restaurant, pool). Overall Loi Suites Iguazu is simply breath taking.

Taxi or private car is required to access the property and approximately a 15 minutes drive to Iguazu National Park.

      The Mighty Iguazu Falls

WHY? Two places inspired my travels to South America. The second was the Perito Moreno glacier. This is the first. Ever since I'd seen my good friend Rob's pictures of Iguazu when he headed there after uni and I carried on studying, it's been on my bucket list. WHERE? The falls sit on the border of Argentina and Brasil with Paraguay being just 7km …

... finally cocaina! A quick progression in the sales market.

Once we were back in Brazil we ate at the cheapest kilo restaurant (a Brazilian eating out experience, where you buffet but pay for the weight of the food on your plate). Then we caught a bus to Argentina in order to catch a 16 hour night bus to Uruguay. The bus was relatively comfortably and we got on board having been told ...

... might as well do something eh? In the heat I needed frequent rests and was starting to think they had been right. The 3/4 cars I saw all were heading the wrong way until finally a van going the right way stopped, I jumped in delighted and as I was getting comfortable he stopped and said, this is me! He had only gone 2km! Poco y poco! Anyway, then it turned into endurance, no other cars passed me until 3pm. I was wandering down the dirt road, ...

      The Other Falls

The weather was still fine and so we decided to visit the other falls in Missiones as well: The Moconį falls of the river Uruguay. The road to the falls was as nice as the falls itself - windy and the the top of the hills at a lot of scenic views on the rain forst and rivers.
It was really hot that afternoon and we welcomed the wet boat trip to the falls.

... pinched Steve“s cheek, and tweaked it for good measure. And then he left. In five minutes, he returned and promised us two cama seats from Iguazu all the way to Salta. And so naturally we agreed. We gathered our belongings, disembarked from one bus and prepared to board the other when the dissembling ticketing agent again came clean - he had only one cama seat available on bus number two. We protested vehemently, but when we looked back at our initial bus we realized we“d ...
