Our next visit was National Plaza, this plaza is surrounded by beautiful 'pink' buildings with a four sided arcade dominated by arches, the square and buildings date back to the 17th Century and is a nice place to sit and enjoy a coffee or meal in the many cafes.

Now it is the tourists who climb the steps to see the restored chapels and the Black Madonna. The steps are steep and we first have to climb up from the parking to the town but we go to the top. Some of the chapels are large with organs and large ...

Lovely coffee stop in Lescure, sitting by one of the 11th Century town gates with its 19th Century clock. On to Franciscan priory and 12th Century shrine, Notre-Dame de la Dreche. Looks very like Albi cathedral if smaller. Built at the same time and seemingly to a similar design. Both look like a bundle ...
