John started the day with a sketch at last - very little chance up till now. After lovely breakfast outside in the sun, we spent time with the Carles looking at the vegie garden, adjoining river and being shown lots of antiquity - the old nearby inn, old wood oven, stables and sheds with loads of old goodies. We learned lots about the fascinating history of the property and district. They were the best of hosts and wonderful company - a jolly good ...
Leaving our hotel on the fringe of town, we made our way [somewhat circuitously!] to the very popular very old town of St Guilhem le Desert. This a gem of a place, set in a steep sided narrow valley. Cordes has an inversion layer when during the right weather and ...

I know it's fast but that's not the point. I want to enjoy it. Ian offers to cycle with me to a good hitchhike point. Well, I think that's a good idea although not really necessary. I'll find my way. Still. I accept his offer. When we get back ...
