... we came to Chatillon sur Loire. What a beautiful little town this is! We decided to stay one or two days and explore it thoroughly. After lunch we started to do just that and took plenty of photos. We took the advice of the Office de Tourisme and had dinner at Le Vieux Port which was close to where we had moored. ... for a bit. On the way I saw a deer grazing in a wheat field. It bounded away when it saw me. Pity I didn't have the camera. On the way back I detoured around some of the very quaint streets and lanes. I was fascinated by the cellars with inclined doors right on the roadway.
