Sadly, the one day of the week Nevers' big, covered market is closed is Mondays, so we weren't able to do our usual market exploration the following day, before departing west towards the Atlantic Ocean...perhaps next trip, when we'd also try to get to Sancerre, the white wine region just north of Nevers!

8th July After breakfast we washed some basics and then took off on the recommend walking tour of this little town-- (recommended by the Office de Tourisme). We'd done some of the sights the day before but it was worth a second look. Lots of photos.
