    Wales and England - AMAZING. We arrived on Friday 16th October. We launched straight into sightseeing mode and went directly to the Roman Baths in Bath. What a groovy town Bath is. The next day was the Dr Who Experience in Cardiff. This probably rated as James' most favourite tourist attraction. That afternoon Paul and James went to the Semi Final of New Zealand v France.     ... take us to the museum the afternoon before. Nice guy. We communicated very well.

    Got us to the train station by 7:00 am, but since departure was at 7:40 and they don't post the train departure track until about 20 minutes before...waited in the lounge. Interestingly enough, the departure track was right outside our door. Lucky. Found the first class cabin and got into it without breaking the handle on my new suitcase!!!

    ... we could see snow up the mountains (even if there is absolutely none in the villages!), so we decided to press on.

    We rented skis from a little shop in the village, then drove to the gondola lift at the base of le Grand Bornand station.
