Fortunately, after what felt like much more than 1.5 kms we saw a sign, so went in - no one there, but there was a note saying back soon, and the right name of our host!! Phew. We realised there ...

... and even a hint of mountains in the distance. But then we would come across another flat expanse of fields, today mostly with corn again - sometimes the stumps after harvest and sometimes high and drying. A few vineyards, and we walked through some forests that were wild - like virgin land. Towards the end we walked along completely flat path - beside a railway track, and then through fields into town. Our itinerary had said we were staying ...

... to our hotel's wifi, but it is not working, so may have to go and seek a cafe or bar which has wifi......the woman at reception has just told us that it is a Nogaro-wide problem, but should be OK by 5pm ??? Hope to rest well tonight as tomorrow is the big 30+ km walk.... ...Now that the wifi seems to be functioning, will add that we have still been so lucky with the weather. Today ...
