We spent the weekend in Bretagne, one day in Nantes, and a few days in the sea resort town of La Baule, spending some quality time with family, taking the sun, enjoying the food and exploring the surroundings.
Nous avons passe le weekend en Bretagne, un jour a Nantes puis quelques jours a La Baule. Nous avons pu nous y reposer, profiter de la famille, du soleil, de la cuisine francaise et explorer les allentours.
... 0700hrs and baggage out by 0730hrs so it was an early start. We were on the bus to London by 0930hrs. The ship had a cleanup and be ready for the next lot of passengers by 1600hrs that day.
We on the other hand were in London by somtime close to 12 noon for the next part of our trip.

Took the car out to Piriac sur Mer today to explore the coastal area south east of Vannes. It didn't disappoint, nice old port and quaint coastal town. We stopped off for a lakeside walk in the village of Asserac on the way there, and coffee and a bit of shopping in Roche St Bernard on the way ...
