After a long and tiring journey we arrived at our campsite. Weather is lovely so went for an uphill walk in the evening. Just enjoying a beer in the bar now. Day by the pool tomorrow me thinks. Did a little reading by the van after breakfast and then dozed off. After lunch went and had a dip in the pool. After some much needed sunbathing we decided to have a game of tennis - Sue cheated of course! Sat in the shade now with cool beer ...
... and drove back home just in time. A couple of hours later we got ready to go to the other party at Letitia's somewhere in a nearby village in a beautiful big villa. Well. Today, was the day for me to rest my weary wee legs and chill, but, ...
Here we are again then. Slight change of focus for the blog today (not so much actually) as the ride was smooth and uneventful, although, it has to be said again complimented by the French and their incredible hospitality and good nature. I'll list these right now in fact. 1. Having done my early morning shop at Carrefour (I've now realised that you can get a box of 6 Pain au Chocolat for 3 Euros and was on my third by the time I hit the checkout) I revisited ...
