Day 3 - Midnight in Paris

... baked and prepared, we sit down for a leisurely lunch. The personnel (staff) may work bloody hard in the kitchen, but they certainly do not starve in the meantime. We are treated to a feast of steak, chips and vegetables...Just an average during the week snack. It is, I find out later, what they eat at least two times per day between work shifts. Expecting the Unexpected When Traveling Abroad
This trip is the first time Damien or I have been to Europe. The flight was long but we were able to nap during the night flight. We used Air Canada and it was interesting to hear the transition from English to French. The minuite we landed at Charles de Gaulle airport the adventure began.

Camelot! Home of Merlin
Get here in reasonable time, just after 4. We decided on a quick visit around Chateau Pierrefonds, where the BBC film Merlin. They are filming now so we can't go in the dungeons.
Amazing place fantastic views. Shame we couldn't have stayed overnight.
