When I woke up this morning, with a raging headache and feeling nauseous, I thought the best place to die would be in bed. But I was determined to see as much as I could. Our first stop was the Eiffel Tower, which we had seen from the river the night before. It is massive. Glad once again to be with a tour and not lining up for hours to get up. Early is best. We were up at 7am today, showered and ready to leave hotel by 8.15. Caught the free shuttle to the airport, terminal 3 then caught the airport train to terminal 1. Checked through all ok. No overweight bags! Went through immigration and did a bit of last minute shopping and had final cake in the challenge. Mine was a green (pistachio) macaron. Went through security and boarded the plane (a380). Left on time at 12pm. I watched ...
