    ... laser/light show. This was incredible. 20 minutes of beautiful fireworks and fabulously inventive light projections using the castle as the backdrop. At some points the turrets of the castle lit up with flames so large, we could actually feel their heat from our vantage point hundreds of metres away on Main Street.

    ... are in Ford's bag. Saw our first European McDonalds at the airport and Burger King at the train station (see photo). Now we are sitting in Starbucks waiting to board the train to Bayeux. Finally arrived in Bayeux and walked from the train station to the guesthouse. The owners checked us in- no English. We quickly dropped our bags in our room and walked around town. It is so cute!     Went to bed with a restored faith in people thanks to two girls from England/ Australia who I spoke to for a while before going to bed. The night's sleep wasn't as bad as I anticipated, but it was so hot! Will definitely be catching up on sleep in the plane.
