I also learned more about how disgusting our forebears were (never showering for fear of getting sick), and how ridiculous their beliefs were (they thought if you slept laying down you would die). ... this same story repeatedly, no matter where we travel.

The weather in Athens is absolutely gorgeous this afternoon. The first thing we did after checking into our cabin was to freshen up and change out of our travel clothes and into something cooler. We are sitting outside now on an open air deck overlooking the hot tub and swimming pool. Greek ferries are similar to cruise ships, only smaller in size. I am having my first iced Greek coffee of this trip and Ed ...
