... living in some dude's house with all of his stuff still here. It's right in the centre of Geneva which in our couple of days here seems to be a bit of a stiff place and not particularly friendly. It is a stunning setting on both sides of the lake with a very strong French architectural influence and lovely parks with lots of sculptures and art everywhere, similar to Lugano.

... the bikes was that we got lost, and ended up doing twice the distance as we doubled back to get on the right path. But it was worth the walking - one path went alongside some quite dingy houses whilst the other path went past beautiful villas and mansions. So our error meant we got to see both sides to life in Chambery! Had a dinner at a nice Italian restaurant tonight. As it is so close, there is a large Italian influence in this regions with many Italian restaurants.
Tomorrow, we do the drive to Nice. havent decided on the actual route yet, but they all say around 5 hours, so we should do it in about 8 - allowing for lots of little stops.
