I didn't see anything particularly stunning that makes their water better than anywhere else, but it is a nice town at the foot of the mountains and was worth a visit. Next stop, back into France to Champagne. :-)

The lake is so beautiful, nestled between the mountains and the city. The fresh air and feeling of openness that ...

Distance: 48km Cumulative distance: 2989km Best Convenience: no rain! Riding conditions: flat. And best still, no rain, except on the other side of the lake in Switzerland! Weather: beautiful, warm, 24 degrees, some sunshine! Yay! We woke to an unprecedented view of Geneva. The ground wasn't wet! Another amazing thing about today... I saw something I haven't seen in a long time... My shadow! Yes! The sun came out! There was something very satisfying about watching the ...

... me considering the content which is as far removed from science and technology as possible, my usual museum criteria.

In the afternoon we took a "train" ride along the east bank of Lake Geneva which included a number of gardens, including the English Garden. Although there were not many flowers, probably, not the right season yet, the trees and shrubs made it well worth the visit. We also went to the famous flower clock, which was a bit of ...
