The alarm was set for 08:00 knowing we may sleep in following last nights excesses - we had booked and paid for the breakfast at Hotel Jeanne D'Arc so we were never going to miss that!!
We felt remarkably well for saying and both agreed that should be a one off!!! Too much time lost.

... it was really for walking but it would take you two days to walk around. We also saw a Battleship and Loire River and amazing barge boats and modern tourists boats, goats and gardens and chicks, (the feathered kind). We set off at 9am and got back at 3.30pm and apart from lunch and seeing the machines we were riding the rest of the time. Not hard riding, just enjoyable meandering riding. ... ghost town! Of course, it is Monday and all the shops are shut. We wandered round and Alex led us to a Bar/Brasserie, called Le Concorde, which was open and served us lovely coffee, which we drank outside. Inside, the Bar was decked out ready for the match tonight-France versus *****ia!
