    ... I spoke to soon about the sun never coming out! My day consisted of exploring Cathedrals, the aquarium -learning students get in free to the museums on Wednesdays and a discount on other days after a long broken conversation with the woman at the front desk- and finding the Pepiniere Park.     ... I put my elbows on the washer, pressed my cold hands into my face and just said, "God, please just help me, I need socks" and I guess I pressed my face too firmly, because suddenly, the washing machine made this clicking noise and it started working!!! I was so amazed!! Turns out the washing machines have these handles that must be pressed down in order for the door to lock. No wonder there was a button that said "press to unlock door when washer is in use." I had ...
