... about the day, albeit a little disappointed with French cycling infrastructure. Metz is a lovely city with lots of ancient buildings and structures. It also has a nice feel about it with a lot of traffic-free streets, cafés and restaurants. We had our normal post-ride wander and did a quick recon for tomorrow. ... for the start of the semester, but some students were a bit too boisterous. Finn and Winni even said that since they were teaching in the "Scandinavian way," they were alright with us stepping out to have a conversation, especially if it meant not distracting the rest of the class. Finn also offered a cup of coffee for us to chat if we were falling asleep..

... looked like a clown. Either way, Ruby didn't put a lot on, but I just don't like make-up. She also tried to tease my hair and it worked for a while. That is, until we walked to the Love Boat and it started to rain.

... time we had the final, and there were only 7 of us who showed up to class. I mean I understand why you wouldn't want to show up for class, but I felt like it was important since she said it during our exam that we did have it. Either way, it wasn't that important, but at the same time I am glad that I went because she appreciated it and wished me good travels back home. How sweet.

... can look up words on my laptop without my internet cutting out every 2 minutes. I still have 2 hours until class, which means I can get a lot more work done before then. I'm think about going to the Christmas market after class toady, as long as it's still open. That's my motivation to get things done today.

I have done 2 readings and it's not even 1pm yet. I am being so productive today that I need to stop and relax.
