Decided we should make use of the car and headed off to Mont St Michel. One of the most visited places in France. Pleasant journey and Rich enjoyed the drive. Couldn't believe how good the traffics and people management was. Despite huge numbers of visitors got on. Shuttle bus within a couple of minutes. Mont St Michel rises spectacularly out of the ...

... interesting trip with only around 20 passengers on. Boat designs to carry over 100. ... hotel we chose was a mile out of town because all of the hotels were in the old part of town with narrow, cobblestone streets and lots of foot traffic. After checking in, we headed over to St Malo for some looking around and dinner. The town is on an island with one land road to it and a fortified wall all around it. We walked around for a while and found a place for dinner.

... woods and flat easy walking to the pretty town of Lehon. Passed a lock along the way, this is a popular river for boating, and we think that might have to go in the future trips file. The town is dominated by the central, church, originally an abbey, built in 9th century. The cloisters contain a beautiful medieval garden.nd the village perched ...
