Good morning all, starting to write today's blog whilst all you landlubbers are hopefully fast asleep in bed- 7:30 here, 2 hours earlier in the UK. Today's guest blogger is Rob, firstly some useless facts about his experiences on the cruise to date, or should it be 'some facts about his useless sailing experience' instead! Woke up this morning feeling a mossie on his neck, only to find it was the strap from his glasses! Famed for listening to ...

On the North east coast of Ithaca, Frikes is a small port with huge character and wonderful people. Occupied by mainly Australian Greeks it's the warm welcome that make returning here a joy.Positioned at the bottom of 2 large hills there is a constant breeze from the West which relieves clammy skin from the heat of the day and makes for a better nights sleep.

Leaving Neilson and Nanny life behind me I embarked on my trip from one Sivota to the next, this one being on Lefkada. I was to meet the other first mate who I would be working with, Lily, and George the yacht and flotilla skipper.

... parking space (Well a gap that I could wedge the car into)

At the end of the road was the Beach - a small creamy white pebbled beach with deep blue sea. Beautiful!

Luckily we all had swimming costumes on underneath and all except my Jaqjaq who did not feel like swimming.

The water was Cold at first but felt so good.

... Glass, lets buy that first - then join the queue in the sun!!! Jess is trying to hide her sunburn from the Sun but it's hot and hurts - we all add a new layer of dun cream rather hastily!

This cave is €7 but still a bargain. We go down the steps and into the sloping tunnel, we can see a blue glow at the end.
