... wine instead of sake. Tasted a bit ordinary at first sip, but the more you had the better it got! The hotel is a bit like an O'Reillys at Lamington National Park with meals included. They also provide local products and traditional teas and goods in your room, similar to what happens in Vietnam. ... chopsticks....now that was a nice compliment. We learnt to say "very good" ...sounds like O..she. Bought some buckwheat tea to take home. We enjoyed all this in the company of Kerry and Gloria from Bermagui in NSW. We first met them on the trip to Nikko and they had used the same travel agency to do a self-guided personal itinerary as we had. This morning started off rather dreary with some drizzle and dampness on the roads. Plus, it was on the cold side, about 12 degrees with a forecast to reach 19 degrees as a daytime high.
