Port Villa is the trading centre and capital of Vanuatu. It was raining when we docked but after breakfast the sun appeared, YAY!!! Nanna had arranged a snorkel and glass bottom boat adventure. We headed into town by private taxis and boarded the boat, there was only one other family with us. We headed out towards Iririki island stopping at coral plants along the way, when we stopped we had 25mins to snorkel. It was breathtaking!! I have tried to capture ...

... in the rain ? No time to think that through. We reached the car out of breath, and not too wet and started for home. Then the hail started .. thankfully, just light and little pea-sized stuff. (I've circled some of the hail)

After all this talking, laughter and enjoying ourselves, we needed a little break. We rested over a champagne at our wonderful hosts home. All refreshed, we jumped back into car to enjoy the majestic views from the West Head Lookout. We arrived in time for a setting sun, softer light setting off beautiful colours.
