Very nice hotel but in the middle of no where and don't rely upon the hotel shuttle to pick you up if arriving International.

We found an empty table near the "bean" where people-watched while we ate. After lunch ...

Each little railside town has its own trailer park, often quite large.

Day three, woke up in bitterly cold Omaha, clear and sunny, not as much snow. Flat, rolling agricultural land. On into Iowa, past Winterset, Madison County where John Wayne was born. Saw a herd of deer gracefully leap a fence and run across a flattened corn field.

Of course dessert was a must, a very large piece of Bailey's cheesecake was enjoyed by all of usAfter walking around there was a need to watch a sporting event and enjoy some adult beverages so we stopped in a pub called Oscar Madison's. Nothing was written down at the time and by the time Z and I returned to the room specific names and amounts were a little bit hazy. All in all C had a cider but left with M. Z and I had 4 or 5 pints, mine being Guinness and Z ...
